KODSAN Technology and Quality Infrastructure

Kodsan water heaters are designed with modern technologies, environmentally friendly insulation and with customizable features in order to satisfy the different requirements of the customers. At Kodsan we demonstrate our commitment to hygiene and product longevity by specializing in the enameling process. The enamel we use in our products is according to European standards. All of Kodsan’s water heaters come with a magnesium anode rod to provide cathodic protection ensuring a longer product lifecycle.

The Kodsan Quality Assurance System brings together all business functions for the same purpose, to ensure that products meet customer needs precisely and accurately.

In order to provide the best quality and the most advanced products to its customers, Kodsan has adopted a design concept that conforms to world standards and has established production and quality assurance staff consisting of experienced and knowledgeable personnel in order to realize this.

Kodsan quality management system is structured according to ISO 9001 standard. Designed according to TS 736 and TS EN 13345-3 standards, Kodsan products are tested in accordance with TS EN 12897 standard, enamelled in accordance with DIN 4753-3 standard and insulated in accordance with TS EN 15332 standard.

The heat loss tests under the ERP EU No: 814/2013 regulation of Kodsan products have been completed in internationally reputable laboratories in 2015 and the energy labels in accordance with the eco-design requirements are made as described in the ERP EU No. 812/2013 regulation. Furthermore, our products have CE, TSE, TSEK, Solarkeymark, and EAC certificates and documents. Material selection is made according to ASME, DIN, EN standards.

In Kodsan Quality Assurance System, high quality is identified with zero error. It is the basis of the system to ensure that defective products are not produced with optimized process controls during production instead of elimination of defects in finished products. “Kodsan Quality Assurance Team” makes process control tests suitable for changing and developing technology in Kodsan laboratories in order to make the production processes error-free and under control.

Quality And Longevity of Kodsan’s Water Heaters

  • Usage of low carbon steel hot rolled metal sheet compatible with
    enamelling and rolling (cold bending)
  • Enamel thickness is between 200μm-250μm,
  • Serpentines are made with low carbon pipe and tested at the maximum pressure test.
  • Environment-friendly HFCF-free water-based polyurethane is used.
  • In polyurethane isolation, homogeneous density distribution of 42 ± 2 kg / m3 is achieved in the upper and lower regions with heated molds.

Electrostatic powder paint thickness is between 50-80 μm.
